The key to your Pay Per Head business.

In part one of this article series, they got to the root of the most important thing you need to make it as a bookmaker. Now that they have established that it is losing players that pay, they need to know how to get them. Unfortunately, it is not fast or easy.

Pay Per Head agents have to think long term in regards to their business. That might be hard to take at first. Just a few players with smaller limits might not produce the income that your bookmaking dreams are made of. However, it is a fact that every big shot bookie using bookie software sites has started right in the same spot you are. The key to getting the players your looking for is patience and discretion.

The easiest place to start is with your personal friends, or even family. Now both of these groups need to be approached with caution. It is possible that this can cause these relationships to strain. Done the right way although, can help you get a quick start with your pay per head package. After all, you should be able to trust that these people will settle the figure that they lose. Also, you can ask friends of friends, or ask your friends to ask around and see if they know anyone that plays.

Next, think about places you frequent. Maybe a sports bar, a poker room, and other places. Now, these aren’t people you know personally, but they’re the next best thing. Be a little cautious at first, try and feel them out. If you run into people who seem to eager, and desperate even for an account to play on, that’s an immediate red flag. Agents using top bookie software sites need to be aware that there are a lot of guys out there looking to get a high credit limit wherever they can, run it up and disappear.

While building your pph sheet, think of quantity not quality. Just a few players that lose and pay with no issues will generate more income then you might expect. Use those players to gain more. If they are solid, most likely they will know some other people that are solid and might even vouch for them. If you want to take it to the next level, you can even offer someone an agent percentage deal. They will cover this topic more in depth in another article as well.

In post III of this series, they will cover how to handle players once they have become your official customers.
